Short version: your food log, weight, targets and pet live on your phone, not on our servers. No account, no ads, no selling data, no third-party trackers.
What's stored, and where
Everything you enter — food logs, weight, daily target, settings, favorites, recents and your pet's progress — is saved only in your browser's local storage on this device. We don't have a copy. If you delete the app's data, it's gone.
Photos you take for logging stay on your phone; they aren't uploaded.
Food searches
Most foods (from USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts and chain menu data) are built into the app, so searching them sends nothing about you. If a search finds too few results, or you scan a barcode, the app sends only the search text or barcode number through our own server to FatSecret to look it up. Nothing else from your log goes with it. FatSecret results are cached on your device for up to 24 hours.
Anonymous usage counts
To know whether people keep using the app, it sends at most three tiny pings: on day 1, day 7 and day 30 after you start. Each ping contains exactly two things: a random ID made on your device (not linked to your name, email or anything you log) and the day number (1, 7 or 30). We store that ID-and-day pair (deleted after 400 days) and a running total for each day. That's all.
Turn it off any time: Me → Health & privacy, switch off anonymous stats.
Hosting
The app and our two small servers run on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and basic connection info to deliver the app. Our servers don't store IP addresses, device info or timestamps per person. Fonts and code are served from our own site — no outside CDNs.
What we don't do
No ads. No selling or sharing your data. No third-party trackers or analytics. No account needed.
Washington My Health My Data Act
What you eat and what you weigh count as consumer health data under Washington law. We don't collect any of it beyond what's described above — it stays on your device. We don't share it or sell it to anyone.
Delete everything: in the app, go to Me → Reset all data. Or clear this site's data in your browser settings, or delete the home-screen app. Anonymous usage counts can't be tied back to you, but if you'd like your random ID removed, email us.

Not medical advice
This app helps you track food. It isn't medical advice and doesn't replace a doctor or dietitian. It's meant for ages 13 and up; if you're under 18, please use it with a parent's or guardian's okay.
If food feels stressful, support is here: NEDA — get help. In crisis? Call or text 988 — free, any time.
